Filipinos and individuals of different nationalities come from diverse backgrounds. We have worked with a range of communities, including tribal areas, cities with high rates gl human trafficking, campus ministries for elementary, high school, and college students, and community outreach Programs where Filipinos volunteer with government agencies to help youth. During our outreach programs, we provide a space for them to hear the gospel, learn more about Jesus, and create open doors for discipleship. This spiritual journey can be taken on a local level or with us in YWAM Philippines Impact. We offer multiple tracks to develop skill sets that are necessary for specific focuses in our strategic missions.
These tracks include medical sports, media, strategic outreach, and the fundamentals needed to make a successful impact for God's glory in any profession, location, phase of life, or sector of society to which God sends you after the lecture phase in the training school. The training school leads to a strategic outreach collaboration, where a full-time team works across the country with different sectors of society, bringing them through the outreach experience. The team collaborates with participants, letting them see firsthand what if's like to partner with local leaders in the areas for which they have been trained
We take them to unreached people groups in mountainous tribal areas on isolated islands.
We also bring them into heavily populated, dense locations in Metro Manila. Our efforts exterd la elementary and high schools, college campuses, neighborhoods, and Filipino househdide
We also reach out to the neighboring locals who reside near a nearby church. We offer opportunities for individuals to preach the gospel, empower and train the church, work alongside the church, and participate in the church to learn from them as well. We strive to create synergistic relationships with both missionaries in training and local leaders in long-term movemente
In addition to working with other professionals engaged in long-term work, such as discipleship-making movements and educators with whom we're developing a Christian curriculum, we also connect them with government leaders. This helps them see the impact they're making not just locally but also on a city-wide level. We integrate these movements into the national plans of leaders with whom we've been collaborating for years. These plans target the entira country as a united, collaborative effort. This strategy fosters relational unity and depth and also prevents us from duplicating efforts or recreating what has already been established.
First, we provide our students with extensive training, and then we introduce them to secondary schools or pathways where they can use their skills in a variety of ways. One option is to become full-time Youth With A Mission staff, where they can learn to staff a training school or become coordinators for future missionary campaigns and short-term teams. They also have the opportunity to partner with local leaders on a regional and national level for movements that are taking place. In addition, they have the opportunity to work with international leaders in different countries, providing them with cross-cultural experiences and opportunities to set up strategic movements with local leaders.
For many people, becoming a full-time missionary is not the path that God has chosen for them. Therefore, we have developed alternative missional journey paths that can be continued. These paths have been crafted based on real field needs and are developed and led by some of the best international leaders in their respective fields. They are also strategically aligned with our national and international plans and collaborations.
We also offer opportunities for our students to serve as medical missionaries, providing dental work, fluoride treatments, and hygiene education and partnering with the military to provide free treatment for locals in areas of poverty and hard-to-reach locations with unreached people groups.
Another opportunity is for students to use their professional skills in media, such as design, writing, and video editing. They can then impart these skills to other kingdom organizations and non-profits to advance the Kingdom even after graduation.
We are also working on creating digital missionaries who can do missions inside the global Internet, breaking through borders and reaching people online. One of our partners is creating the digital follow-up and journey for people who watch "The Chosen" worldwide, providing an opportunity for viewers to begin a spiritual journey with Jesus online.
We also offer an educational path where students can work with other educators to develop flourishing teachers who use a Christian curriculum. By working alongside educators, teachers are impacted, school districts are impacted, and teachers become missionaries to their schools. We are also helping empower and develop them in such a way that they will have a long-term impact on their students using our transforming curriculum.
You could help make an eternal impact on this generation and beyond. We invite you to join in making a difference in the Philippines through the Batiancilas.
